Thank you for your interest in booking an Anti-bullying Drama Workshop with Sticks and Stones, please fill in the following form and press the 'Submit' button to return it to us. We will contact you to confirm date and times. While we are based in Dublin, we do our best to accommodate schools in other areas where possible. For workshops outside Dublin, additional expenses will apply as they are incurred, i.e. mileage, accommodation, per diems etc. This cost will be confirmed to you at the time of booking.
The duration of each workshop is 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately.
Workshops are targeted at 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes at Primary level and 1st & 2nd year pupils at Post-primary level.
We can tailor the programme for Transition Year pupils.
Only one class group is allowed per workshop, mixing of class groups diminishes the effectiveness of the workshop. Maximum 28 pupils per group.
A member of staff must always be present - ideally the class tutor. Whilst this may present timetable difficulties, it is of huge benefit for both the class and tutor. It allows the tutor a unique perspective on their class, which can’t be achieved through general lesson time, and it strengthens the trust that the pupils have in their tutor. It also enables the school to effectively follow-up any issues that may arise.
Each workshop/class will require a good size space, i.e. Resource Room, Library or Large Classroom, and a circle of chairs in the centre. All other furniture should be stacked aside and pupils do not need to bring any materials with them. Please ensure the room is adequately heated/ventilated depending on the season.
We request that at least 24 hours notice be given for cancellations, otherwise a cancellation fee of 25% will be incurred. Sticks and Stones is a private organisation and is not in receipt of any funding, statutory or otherwise. |
